Terms of Service
Last updated 25 August 2026
The agreement
These terms apply between Meni Gallery and the studio that holds the account. Creating an account, or continuing to use one, means agreeing to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a studio, you are confirming you may bind it.
Your account
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including anything your staff do with the roles you give them.
- Keep your password to yourself. Tell us at support@menigallery.com if you think somebody else has it.
- Your subdomain is yours while your account is open. A handful are reserved for the platform and cannot be claimed.
Your photographs stay yours
You keep every right in the photographs and content you upload. We do not claim ownership, we do not license them onward, and we do not use them to advertise anything.
What you give us is the narrow permission needed to run the service: to store your files, make the smaller copies a gallery needs, and show them to the people you have chosen to show them to. Nothing beyond that.
What you are responsible for
- Having the right to upload what you upload, and the consent of the people in it — including where you switch on face search.
- What you tell your clients, what you quote them, and what you deliver. We host the album; the agreement about the shoot is between you and them.
- The accuracy of your GSTIN, your rates and the amounts you record. Invoices are produced from what you enter, and we do not check it.
- Not using the service to store or share anything unlawful.
Payments your clients make
You connect your own payment gateway account. When a client pays, the money goes to you, not to us — we never hold it, and we take no cut of it. What we do is record the payment against the event so your balances and invoices are right.
The gateway's own terms govern settlement, refunds and disputes. A refund is arranged between you, your client and your gateway.
What you pay us
Subscription charges, where they apply, are billed in advance for the period you choose. Taxes are added where the law requires. If a payment fails we will tell you before anything is restricted.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise.
Keep your own copies of your photographs. We take backups, but a hosting service is not an archive, and no backup is a substitute for your own.
Ending it
- You can close your account whenever you like. Fees already paid for the current period are not refunded, and you keep the service until that period ends.
- We may suspend an account for non-payment, or for use that breaks these terms — with notice, except where the law or a serious risk to others makes that impossible.
- Download your photographs before you close. After an account closes, its files and records are deleted; see the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or lost data, and our total liability in any twelve months is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may change these terms. Anything material will be notified to account holders before it takes effect, and the date at the top always reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Tamil Nadu have jurisdiction.
